JAMISON MATTRESS PROS:
> Can increase sleeping & resting comfort
> Numerous online customer reviews of Jamison Mattresses state a more restful night’s sleep & a more refreshed feeling upon awakening
JAMISON MATTRESS CONS:
> Expensive compared to other beds that offer similar comfort at a fraction of the price
> Increases comfort but doesn’t treat the root cause of most back pain – therefore not a permanent solution for back pain
There doesn’t appear to be one type of mattress that’s best for people with back pain. It’s probably a matter of what feels most comfortable to you.
– The Mayo Clinic
If you’re looking to buy a mattress for morning back pain, Jamison Mattresses, along with other types & forms of bedding designed to enhance user comfort while sleeping, have proven to be superior to traditional beds because they contour to the specific shape of your body to relieve pressure & stress points. However, if your back pain is like most peoples & stems from spinal misalignment (poor posture), these ultra comfortable beds do NOTHING to permanently improve your posture. Unlike Jamison mattresses (and other sleep comfort mattresses), the BODY-ALINE re-balances your postural muscles to permanently restore good posture. It will eliminate back pain throughout your entire day, as opposed to just while you’re sleeping or resting. If a Jamison mattress increases your comfort level then, by all means, use it, just don’t expect it to permanently cure your back pain.
Jameson mattresses, along with other ultra comfortable beddings, are just temporary ways to relieve a symptom of back pain while you’re sleeping or resting. They’re not a cure. Many have asked the questions: “What kind of mattresses are best for back pain relief?” and “What are the best mattresses for back pain relief?” This analysis summarizes why, in our opinion, the BODY-ALINE is a better & more effective back pain solution compared to even the best mattresses for back pain relief, like Jamison mattresses, although they both work well together.
A Personal Review of Jamison Mattresses for Back Pain Relief from BODY-ALINE Co-Inventor Jason Bowman…
It may not be a Jamison but I own a memory foam mattress & I’ll never sleep on anything else. I may sound like a commercial here, but the memory foam really works. It contours to my body & it not only seems that I sleep better, but I fall asleep faster, which is important to me because I don’t like to waste time. I’m a huge fan of buying ultra comfort bedding & you should be to. However, if you’ve got bad posture these types of beds won’t correct it. I recommend Jamison type mattresses to be used along with your BODY-ALINE. It’s a great combination & I do it myself.
To start, the mattress needs to support your body in a neutral position, one in which your spine has a nice curvature and your buttocks, heels, shoulders, and head are supported in proper alignment. If the mattress is too firm, it will push on those main pressure points and take you out of alignment, if it’s too soft, those pressure points won’t be properly supported, so your whole body flops back. Both of these scenarios can lead to an achy morning
